Account Deletion Policy

This Account Deletion Policy explains how to request deletion of your OptionsLogger account and what happens when an account deletion request is processed.

1) Who This Applies To

This policy applies to OptionsLogger users who want to delete their account and associated data.

General support and deletion requests: support@optionslogger.com

2) How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your account, email support@optionslogger.com from the email address associated with your OptionsLogger account.

Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request

In the body of your email, include:

  • Your account email address, and

  • A clear statement that you are requesting deletion of your OptionsLogger account.

If you email us from a different address, we may ask you to verify ownership of the account before we process the request.

3) What We Delete

When we process an account deletion request, we will delete or anonymize information associated with your account, which may include:

  • Account profile information (such as email address and account identifiers)

  • Trade journal entries and notes you entered into the Service

  • App usage data linked directly to your account (where applicable)

4) What We May Retain (Limited Retention)

Even after deletion, we may retain certain information to the extent necessary for legitimate business purposes and/or as required by law, including:

  • Payment and transaction records needed for tax, accounting, and compliance (processed through Stripe)

  • Records needed to prevent fraud or abuse, enforce our Terms, or resolve disputes

  • Limited technical logs and backup/archival data that may persist for a period of time due to routine system operations

We do not retain your data for longer than necessary for these purposes.

5) Timing

We aim to complete account deletion requests within 30 days of receiving a valid request. In some cases, it may take longer (for example, if we need additional verification, or if deletion is delayed due to legal obligations or technical constraints related to backups).

6) Important Notes

  • Deletion is permanent: Once processed, account deletion cannot be undone, and you may lose access to your data and any paid features.

  • Subscription cancellation: Account deletion does not automatically guarantee a refund. If you want to cancel your subscription, you can do so in the app at Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription (cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period).   • Requests by unauthorized parties: For security reasons, we only process deletion requests that we can reasonably verify as coming from the account owner.

7) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Account Deletion Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the “Last Updated” date.
